ALLEN'S BASIC BASKETRY KITS
We have developed these basic kits each designed to teach a basic form of basket weaving. Kits are sold by the each at retail or by the dozen wholesale. They are designed so that a group can get together and make baskets. They are ideal for schools, churches and youth groups.

These kits are a series designed to acquaint the individual with basic basketry. The kits contain materials for twenty participants and easy to follow instructions. More than just a craft kit, these kits provide a basic art experience. They are ideal for classroom  or camp settings.

MY FIRST BASKET (Recommended for Kindergarten age and up, ideal for senior citizens)
This is a simple rattan basket that can be made by those with beginning skills. Created on a simple mold it may illustrate how the first baskets were made by tangling selected strands of vines around an available object and then lifting off the finished container. This project has a completion time of 1 - 2 hours depending on skill level.
